WikiMoon is an ongoing project to create a definitive database of information about Sailor Moon. Since it started in May 2006, the project's users have created 2,771 articles.
The goal of the project is to not only develop comprehensive information on the series itself, but the fandom as well. We'd like to provide a neutral ground for information, which takes into account multiple viewpoints but also gets to the truth behind events - eventually compiling a record of Sailor Moon fandom in the west. If you'd like to join us, then go to the Welcome page for tips on how to get started. (日本語)

A Star Seed, introduced in the fifth and final season, consisted of a very small glittering sphere enveloped in a transparent crystal. When a human was hit by the golden energy blasts produced by Sailor Galaxia's bracelets, a flower appeared above their head or in front of their chest and opened to reveal the Star Seed. Every single person in the galaxy possessed one, but there were two kinds: those belonging to ordinary people, and those belonging to Sailor Senshi. Common people had "weak" Star Seeds which turned black right after being forcefully exposed, and a person whose Star Seed had turned black became a Phage. Those belonging to Senshi had a permanent shine, and were called "true" Star Seeds, or, in the manga, they were known as Sailor Crystals. Each planetary body in the galaxy was represented by its own Star Seed, and the Sailor Senshi of that planet was its carrier. If a Senshi's Star Seed was taken out of their body, the Senshi disappeared, which was equivalent to dying. However, a Senshi could continue to exist without their Star Seed as long as they wore Sailor Galaxia's bracelets. If a Star Seed was retrieved, the Senshi could be revived in physical form.... |
Do you remember the one where Pharaoh 90 was defeated at last, through the efforts of Sailor Saturn and the true Messiah? A Bright Shooting Star! Saturn and the Messiah was the 125th episode of Sailor Moon. Mistress 9 declares that Hotaru is now dead, and that now all she needs is the Holy Grail in order to summon Pharaoh 90. Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune both attack her with the intention of destroying her before that can happen, but Sailor Moon jumps in the way and is hit by both attacks. Mistress 9 captures both of them and says that she will kill them unless she is given the Holy Grail. Even though Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune insist that she not give it up, Sailor Moon summons the Grail. Professor Tomoe staggers out of the darkness toward Mistress 9, calling out to Hotaru. Mistress 9 is disgusted by him and attacks, strangling him with her hair as Sailor Moon weeps and begs her to stop.... |

| ...that there are several varieties of flowers named for Sailor Moon?
...that Yuuka Asami, who played Sailor Neptune in the Sailor Moon musicals, was given the nickname of "Kappa?" ...that Prince Dimande's favorite flower was jasmine? ...that Ayaka Komatsu, who played Sailor Venus in the live-action series, hates whipped cream - which made the scene where she had to eat some in Act 12 a very unpleasant one for her? |
