Jinta Araki was an anime-only character who appeared in episode 114. Mimete attempted to steal his Pure Heart Crystal with U-Tahime.
When he announced that he would be holding auditions for a heroine to star with him in his upcoming film, it caught the attention of Minako and Mimete, who were both long-time fans of his. Mimete had hoped she could use this chance to bond with Araki as well as have a big debut for a professional career, and even considered leaving the Death Busters in order to fulfill her dream.
Minako and Mimete were both finalists, and in the final round of the audition Mimete at first thought she had won, but there was an unfortunate turnaround, and she stole his Pure Heart Crystal in a fit of rage. The Sailor Senshi arrived in time to destroy the Daimon and saved him, returning his Pure Heart Crystal.
Jinta Araki mentioned that even though his fans would eventually forget about him, he would be content because girls could take the feelings they felt for him and turn them into true romance.
Trivia[edit]
- Araki's nickname, "Alazin," was likely formed by using the first syllables of his name; "Arajin" (アラジン) is the Japanese spelling of the name "Aladdin," but the episode itself used the spelling "Alazin."
