Kiriko was an anime-only character who appeared in episode 145. She was a ballerina in Yamagishi's company, and was secretly in love with him. She was aiming for the title role in the company's production of Giselle, but after hearing that Yamagishi planned to give the role to Fisheye she became quite upset and lost faith in her ability to achieve that goal. However, after the encouraging words of Usagi and Chibiusa, her determination was renewed.
When she went to speak to Yamagishi she overheard his confrontation with the disguised Fisheye, in which the director admitted that he had always planned to give the role to her all along. This angered Fisheye, who attacked Kiriko and then removed Yamagishi's Dream Mirror. The two of them were saved by Sailor Moon, Sailor Chibi Moon, and Tuxedo Mask, and Kiriko went on to dance her dream role as Giselle.
