Lethe
Lethe (レテ) was a planet mentioned only in the Sailor Moon manga and Sailor Moon Crystal. The only information given about the planet was that it was located somewhere in the Milky Way, and that it was the original home planet of Sailor Lethe. This planet was at war with the planet Mnemosyne, and was destroyed during Sailor Galaxia's conquest of the galaxy.

- When Sailor Lethe introduced herself to the other Sailor Senshi in Act 56 of the manga, the furigana accompanying the kanji "sei" (星) in "Lethe-sei" (レテ星) indicated that it should be read as the English word "star" (スター), leading some fans to speculate that Lethe was an actual star in the astronomical sense, because these furigana never accompany the "sei" part in the Japanese names of the planets of the Solar System; the only other celestial bodies in the series to do this were Kinmoku and Mnemosyne. In the corresponding scene in Sailor Moon Cosmos, Lethe also said "Lethe Star" (レテ・スター) spoken in English. However, in that movie, the celestial body was depicted as a solid planet that burst into rocks upon destruction.
- In the English Eternal Edition of the manga, Sailor Lethe also referred to her homeworld as "Lethe Star" and a translator's note acknowledged that the celestial body was a star in the astronomical sense, but in the English dub of Sailor Moon Cosmos, she called it "Planet Lethe."
