Risa Hino was the name given to Rei's mother in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon; in the other versions she was never given a name. In all versions of Sailor Moon, however, she died when Rei was only a little girl, and not much is known about her. In the live-action series, she was very fond of the story of Princess Kaguya.
