Sailor Moon SuperS: Fuwa Fuwa Panic ("Fuwa Fuwa" (ふわふわ), a phonetic simulation of the state of floating, refers to the floating-like characteristic of balloons) was a video game for the Super Famicom console, which was released on December 8, 1995 in Japan by Bandai.

The object of this game was to defeat the opponent by popping balloons arranged above the character's head. The player whose balloons went below the playing field lost. The energy gauge gave the chance to perform special attacks or call Tuxedo Mask, who would throw roses to pop the topmost range of balloons. This gauge increased once every other time a shot destroyed a balloon. If the energy gauge was full, the Sailor Senshi character could perform a special attack, the effect of which depended on the attack itself. Both a story mode and a two-player mode were available.

In the two-player mode, the player could play as any of the Inner Senshi, Sailor Chibi Moon, or any of the Outer Senshi except for Sailor Saturn. The player could play against the computer or another person.

In the story mode, the only playable characters were the Inner Senshi and Sailor Chibi Moon. The object was to defeat all the Senshi except Sailor Saturn, who appeared as an advisor. The final boss was a clone of the player's Senshi character.

Trivia[edit]

  • During gameplay, the characters could turn into their civilian identities and then transform back into their Senshi form; when the latter occurred, a transformation sequence was shown. Since Sailor Saturn was not a playable character she had no transformation sequence, just as in canon.
