Sailor Moon in Bulgaria refers to the Sailor Moon anime series broadcast in Bulgaria. The Bulgarian name of the series was Сейлър Муун.
Translation and Channels[edit]
The first 59 episodes were dubbed by the Айпи ентътеинмент studio and aired on Nova TV starting on October 16, 2004. The episodes aired every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 am and were later moved to 8:30 am, finishing with episode 59 on November 24, 2005. In the same year, reruns began on several cable television channels, which ended in 2006. Much like the Russian version, the Bulgarian dub was not a fully lip-synced dub but a voiceover; all male roles were voiced by Stanislav Pishtalov and all female and child roles were voiced by Jivka Doneva, Vasilka Sugareva, and Petya Miladinova. The executive producer was Basil Novakov. The translation used the German dub as its source, so all names and changes were kept from that version.
