Shin was a character who appeared only in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, and in that series was the human form of Kunzite.
In Act 13, Motoki's turtle, Kamekichi, went missing and was found by Shin, a mysterious stranger with no memory of himself or his past. When Motoki, along with Usagi and Mamoru went to retrieve the turtle, they discovered that Shin had amnesia. Usagi felt sorry for the man, and set off on a quest to help him regain his memory.
Queen Beryl, however, required the services of the last of the Shitennou, and caused Shin to awaken as Kunzite. Kunzite was never seen in human form again, although there was a brief flashback shot of Shin in Act 48, when Kunzite died.
