Talk:Awakening of the Messiah of Silence? Stars of Destiny
I note that Thomas Harris's Pure Heart Crystal was not actually taken. That would make him one of few people targeted who can say that. Or is he the only one? Also, I am not sure if Hotaru was actually hit by the Daimon, but it looked like it, and that is consistent with the idea that she will be forced to reveal herself. - It looked like she was hit to me, too. Also, FYI, you can use the "preview" button to see if everything looks okay before you save your changes - that way you're less likely to get an edit conflict because you're editing at the same time as someone else. Regarding the recent edit - during that scene, the dark figure raises the scythe, then as she brings it down the screen goes black. There's a splash of what one can reasonably assume is blood and some sound effects, but otherwise? What's happening it left up to the viewer to interpret. Did she just slash Rei into a million pieces? Did the scythe just cause the Silence? Was it equivalent to Saturn dropping the Glaive and thus ending the world? Nobody knows. The idea that "blood splashes everywhere as the Messiah slaughters Rei" is one possible interpretation, yes, but it's not the only one, and it's a rather unnecessarily graphic one besides. That's why I've removed it. Kerochan no Miko (talk) 19:58, 21 March 2015 (MST)
- Thanks for responding, if it's removed, it's removed, I'm just glad an explanation took place afterwards, ;). There could be more reasons to it, however, that one seems the most logical to me because of the fact that the glaive isn't dropped and the sound of slicing is heard/used instead of a metallic clink. Seeing as Rei was the only human in the nightmare alive and moving and the world was already about to crumble, I don't think the Messiah would have nothing left to do but to target Rei, since she is technically *La Morte* or *The Death*. --99.227.233.247 20:26, 21 March 2015 (MST)
