Can we get a picture of this alpha device, please? -- DENelson83 19:25, 5 August 2006 (MST)

I've uploaded an image I got from "Print Screen"-ing a clip of Moon Crystal Power on youtube, but it's a bit fuzzy. If anyone has a dvd or similar quality screengrab please replace it, I'd do it myself but my PC can't read my region-1 Sailor Moon DVDs. GracieLizzie 06:41, 6 August 2006 (MST)
Thank you! That one is much nicer ^_^! GracieLizzie 14:58, 6 August 2006 (MST)
The English adaptation name for the Crystal Star was "Moon Star Locket", which was featured in the Resource Book for the Sailor Moon Role Playing Game. ~ Fighter4luv 05:54, 6 September 2007 (MST)
I don't think the RPG sourcebook is really "official" canon, though, is it? Kerochan no Miko 06:02, 6 September 2007 (MST)
Not really sure, but it's the closest thing we have. I attempted to contact the guy who wrote it up to see if DiC had any input but his email address no longer exists. ~ Fighter4luv 05:07, 7 September 2007 (MST)
I think "the closest thing we have" to canon is canon. From what I recall, the RPG sourcebook had a significant percentage of fan canon in it, so I'm reluctant to use it as an official source for anything. Kerochan no Miko 14:41, 7 September 2007 (MST)
I do agree that there are a few incorrect things in it (things relating to the Japanese version), but a lot of the US stuff is pretty accurate. In any case, it was never called the "Crystal Star Brooch" or "brooch" at all in the English adaptation. The terms used in the actual show were "magic locket" and in the R movie she refers to it as a "compact". ~ Fighter4luv 07:26, 8 September 2007 (MST)
If you could please get your indents correct, I would appreciate it - makes it easier to follow the conversation. And I think you've just proved that the sourcebook shouldn't be taken as canon. If the terms used in the show were "magic locket" and "compact" and the Bandai toy was the "Sailor Locket" then I definitely see no reason to declare it the "Moon Star Locket." "Sailor Locket" was for the first Henshin Brooch. There was never a toy released in the US for the Crystal Star. ~ Fighter4luv 06:04, 14 September 2007 (MST)
