References[edit]

Is it just me, or are the references getting a little insanely obtrusive in this article? Methinks it would be better to create a "myu terminology" article for all the little terms instead of having footnotes out the wazoo on every little thing. Kerochan no Miko 22:18, 22 November 2007 (MST)

I think the footnotes look fine, but then that just might be because I'm more used to Wikipedia. All that the footnotes are intended to indicate is that I didn't write those parts of the article out of my own general knowledge - I looked at those sites and tried to rewrite the bits that I felt would be useful (except for terms, which can't really be rewritten). I don't like the idea of a "Myu terminology" page if the vision of it involves the merging of this article into that one... Maybe as more of an incubation page for terms which only have a one or two line definition? -Malkinann 01:14, 24 November 2007 (MST)
The thing is, a lot of these things are things you could know just from watching the Fan Kansha videos. I've seen some of them, and therefore I know what "Question Corner" is - do I still need to footnote a website that refers to it? I think not, personally. And I said absolutely nothing about merging this page with a terminology page - it's just that the question has come up before, WRT other myu-specific terms, and I would prefer to link myu articles to an article on this site than have a ton of reference links to things that IMHO don't really need specific references because they're common knowledge to anyone who's seen a myu. Musical Numbers[edit]

Hey, I was wondering: I thought I would list the songs in specific fankans, so can I create specific pages for them? How would I name the articles? For the first one, for example, would it be "January 1998 Fan Kansha" or "Eien Densetsu (Kaiteiban) Fan Kansha"...? Arukas (talk) 16:41, 23 September 2019 (EDT)

Why couldn't they go in this article? It's not like there isn't room. Kerochan no Miko (talk) 21:50, 23 September 2019 (EDT)
Well, since there are over 10 fankans I thought it would end up with too much information in one place, specially if we were to add other data beyond songs, but yeah, they can go here XD Arukas (talk) 22:10, 23 September 2019 (EDT)

Solar System Senshi[edit]

I'm starting to think we should list all of the Senshi included in a musical number, since clearly there are different opinions on who the "main" ones are - and we can't say "nine main" and "ten main" in the same article, it's too unclear. Kerochan no Miko (talk) 23:06, 1 October 2019 (EDT)

Well, I thought the "nine main" refers to the 9 from present times, with Chibi Moon being the tenth...When they do senshi group routines they sometimes leave Chibs out, but not one of the older senshi, you know? But I get wanting to make it absolutely clear... Maybe we could use "9 main" and specify Chibi Moon? Or we could go with the subgroups, using "the 5 Inner senshi, the outer senshi and Chibimoon". I think it would leave it with a "cleaner" look than writing down all of their names, specially when there are songs that are performed by every person in the fankan... But that's your call. Arukas (talk) 23:43, 1 October 2019 (EDT)
It would definitely look cleaner to have a group name rather than every single Senshi, I agree - even listing the different sub-groups is a little messy looking. The only question is what group name would be a good one. Just "solar system Senshi" obviously doesn't work, and the 9/10 main is unclear. Maybe "the main Senshi cast"? That seems to me like a standard group when it comes to the musicals, but I'm not sure how much others would agree with that. Kerochan no Miko (talk) 15:58, 2 October 2019 (EDT)
Well, here on wikimoon the "main cast" page of the musicals includes all 10 senshi + Mamoru, right? So I guess saying "the main senshi cast" would imply the group of 10. But that still leaves us without a name for the group of 9 (aka without Chibimoon) Arukas (talk) 22:10, 2 October 2019 (EDT)
Do you have any suggestions? Kerochan no Miko (talk) 12:22, 3 October 2019 (EDT)
Not really, since we can't use numbers ^^' I guess we're gonna have to settle for "the 5 Inner Senshi and the Outer Senshi" for now? And use "main senshi cast" when talking about all 10... Arukas (talk) 22:09, 3 October 2019 (EDT)
There's nothing that says "we can't use numbers," and I said above that the sub-groups is also clunky and not a pleasant option. If there isn't a grouping we can agree on, I guess we're back to listing everyone individually. Kerochan no Miko (talk) 22:15, 3 October 2019 (EDT)
Well, it's not ideal but it's less clunky than listing everyone... but ok, then. "Main senshi cast" is gonna be used when referring to all 10 though, correct? Arukas (talk) 10:36, 4 October 2019 (EDT)
