Talk:Galactica Crunch
I remember Sailor Iron Mouse using an attack in the anime (don't remember the episode number)in which she fired a blast of purple electricity or something like that, but I don't remember if it was ever named or if it was related to Galactica Crunch. Anybody knows?--Silver 17 04:52, 10 August 2009 (MST)
- No, apparently it has nothing to do with Galactica Crunch. I love when I reply to myself in the talk pages, it happens very often, though... --Silver 17:12, 20 August 2009 (MST)
Could someone listen to the beginning of this video. I suspect this attack may be Galactica Crunch but I need a second opinion. It's subtitled as Galactica Crown which is also possible but given this is that Galactica Crunch is already a manga attack it would only make more sense that it be it. -- Sailor Simon 01:33, 24 June 2010
- From what I hear, it could be either way, but I'd say it's "Crunch," for the same reason you've stated. --210 22:54, 23 June 2010 (MST)
- Agreed, it could be either one. I don't hear the チ at the end, but that could just be me or the actress. Ask the fansubber what their source is? Kerochan no Miko 23:02, 23 June 2010 (MST)
- Well I think it's a pretty safe bet to assume that the fansubber went with what he heard. In the fallowing musical, Kakyuu-Ouhi Kourin the attack appear again and this time another fansubber subtitled it as Galactica Clown. Listen at 7:16. Considering it is the same actress who plays Iron Mouse in both musical it is either the same new attack or most likely it's just the actress who has a problem pronouncing Crunch correctly or just doesn't make the «ch» emphatic enough. -- Sailor Simon 23:01, 25 June 2010
- You won't know if it's a safe bet or not unless you ask them. Kerochan no Miko 20:06, 25 June 2010 (MST)
- I asked the fansubber innocentami. She reply that she wrote what she heard. Plus, I went back and listen and realised the attack had been used earlier in the musical. This time, at 4:22 I could hear the «ch» clearly enough. Finally I've asked the fansubber her thoughts and she reply that going back she does hear «Galactica Crunch» more. -- Sailor Simon 20:07, 29 June 2010
- True, it's more clearly "crunch" in the other instance. I'm a little iffy on the original example but with this latest one I'm okay with it -- makes more sense to have used the same attack rather than a completely new one. Kerochan no Miko 19:42, 29 June 2010 (MST)
