Talk:Golden Crystal
The starseed and golden crystal are not the same in the anime? How silly/confusing.--Sakky 06:00, 10 October 2006 (MST)
Okay, I need someone to help my brain because I've been thinking about this and it's bothering me. I used to think they were the same crystal in the anime too because it seems that the Golden Crystal returns to Helios at the end of the SuperS season so how could Mamoru have it in Stars? The Golden Crystal that shows up at Galaxia's place has a slightly different shape and it seems smaller as well. But still, I am not sure what exactly convinced me they were sepreate crystals in the first place. It's quite obvious that Sailor Crystals can change size and shape... so actually, is there anything other than the size and shape to indicate they are different??--Sakky 07:59, 16 October 2006 (MST)
- Mamoru didn't have the Golden Crystal in Stars - he had a gold-colored Star Seed. Kerochan no Miko 09:30, 16 October 2006 (MST)
- Yeah if I recall correctly Galaxia calls it "that Star Seed with golden shine" or something like that, not the Golden Crystal. --GracieLizzie 10:29, 16 October 2006 (MST)
- So just because she doesn't use the official title it isn't the same thing? I mean, we know its the same in the manga, so it still seems like speculation to say they are seperate in the anime unless someone in the anime actually says they aren't the same crystal. I agree it might not be the same crystal but it doesn't seem concrete enough to me to be stated as fact, even if it's a commonly accepted theory.--Sakky 15:04, 16 October 2006 (MST)
- I don't see how it could be the same - like you said, the anime Golden Crystal was with Helios; Mamoru never even had it near his body, let alone inside. (Anime Galaxia still acknowledged him as the Senshi of the Earth, though; she referred to his golden Star Seed as "the Star Seed for this planet" or something to that effect.) --Rosen 01:17, 17 October 2006 (MST)

I have this manga image of the Golden Crystal. How does it look? If someone can provide a better image...
