Talk:Guardian Saturn

Technically speaking, the dot never appeared in Guardian Saturn's name at any point. Since the Senshi all have the dot in their titles, it might make sense for it to be there. However, whichever way we go with, it needs to be the same way for all the Power Guardians. Kerochan no Miko 19:14, 30 March 2008 (MST)

Agreed. I'll add the dot to the others tonite. --210 22:10, 30 March 2008 (MST)
Is that what we agreed to? Kerochan no Miko 22:12, 30 March 2008 (MST)
I thought so, at least for the consistency part, & I also thought you're not objecting to adding the dot in your 1st comment above. That's why I made my above comment. If you've got any new info to suggest otherwise, feel free to lemme know. In the mean time, I'm adding the dot to those other articles you mentioned above to make it consistent. --210 06:04, 31 March 2008 (MST)
I said that they never had the dot in official sources, however, it would make sense for it to be there. I was putting it up for discussion either way, not giving you the go-ahead. Kerochan no Miko 07:58, 31 March 2008 (MST)
Then obviously I didn't see that. lol Anyway, the discussion isn't closed. Like what I've said in my last comment above, I'm open to any new info/arguments from anyone which suggest otherwise. I added the dot into those articles just for easier reading & consistency for the mean time. --210 18:20, 31 March 2008 (MST)
I really wish you'd just left it alone "for the mean time," since they'd been that way for a long time and there weren't any problems. As I said, there's no canon-source reason to have the dot in there. Kerochan no Miko 18:29, 31 March 2008 (MST)
As I've said in my last comment, my reason of adding the dot is for clearer reading of the kana - not because of a canon source (should there be such source suggesting otherwise, I'll stick w/ that instead). Actually the previous spacing could also have been added by me (in the past, I added spaces instead of dots because the machine I used didn't allow Japanese input), tho I haven't checked this. lol --210 21:01, 31 March 2008 (MST)
In the past, we've gone with writing it like they do in canon sources. I'm not sure why this is suddenly a surprise to you. Kerochan no Miko 21:43, 31 March 2008 (MST)

^ Of course, canon source is always the top priority (reread the bracketed sentence in my last comment) - I've never been "surprised" by that in any way. So now I presume there're neither dots nor spaces (checked - I added them long ago last yr. lol) in the manga (I've read the manga only cursorily) & admit that I've somehow mistaken your meaning right from your very 1st comment above all along (I was in a very user-unfriendly, time-limited public terminal at a mall then - that's why I didn't change the other articles immediately then). Sorry for my misunderstanding & I'm gonna correct the articles accordingly. --210 06:19, 1 April 2008 (MST)

As I told you from the beginning that the dot "never appeared in Guardian Saturn's name at any point" I'm not sure how you could have misunderstood that part. If you need me to be utterly clear about what I mean when I say that, I checked the manga and the artbook picture in which she appeared, and in both there was no dot present. Is that better? Kerochan no Miko 07:21, 1 April 2008 (MST)
If you wanna know how I could have misunderstood that part, here you are: I misread it as meaning that the name has never appeared in any official, canon sources (hence you didn't object to my adding the dot). Yeah, I know it's a stupid misunderstanding. lol The plus from this, tho, is that now I've also corrected the spaces which I incorrectly added & have been there since the midst of last yr. lol --210 17:50, 1 April 2008 (MST)
