Any link to the Best Songs medley article (whether it's currently existing or not)? --210 18:43, 29 September 2006 (MST)

Will that do? Kerochan no Miko 18:54, 29 September 2006 (MST)
Yeah, but I'm no myu expert. Is that ok, Michie? --210 18:59, 29 September 2006 (MST)
I'm a little late, but it looks fine. As far as I know, that's the full title. Michie 16:39, 16 October 2006 (MST)

Changed "distance dimension" to "distant dimension" as I assumed it was a typo. Also, the line "Time is imbibed by them" seems a little... not quite right. Is it saying that the "eyes of intrigue" are drinking in time? Because as it is it's phrased really awkwardly and I don't think "imbibe" is the right verb to use there. Kerochan no Miko 04:29, 8 April 2011 (MST)

Imbibe isn't being used literally here. Time is being taken into the eyes, the word "suikomareteku" is not being used literally in the Japanese either. Its a word usually applied to fluids being dragged up something ... Cartwheelingfiesta 04:50, 8 April 2011 (MST)
Hm. Would "time is drawn into them" or "pulled into them" make sense? Even if you say they're "drinking it in" it would sound better. Kerochan no Miko 05:00, 8 April 2011 (MST)
The Japanese makes the distinction of time being gas/liquid like, so it shouldn't be drawn, gives these results for drink: absorb, belt, booze, consume, dissipate, down, drain, gargle, gulp, guzzle, hit the bottle, imbibe, indulge, inhale, irrigate, lap, liquor up, nip, partake of, put away, quaff, sip, slosh, slurp, soak up, sop, sponge, suck, sup, swallow, swig, swill, tank up, thirst, tipple, toast, toss off, wash down, wet whistle. - _ - Cartwheelingfiesta 05:09, 8 April 2011 (MST)
Stupid non-poetic english language <..< Cartwheelingfiesta 05:11, 8 April 2011 (MST)
Yeah I'm going to go with your suggestion "drawn into"... although "tipple" is mighty tempting =\ Cartwheelingfiesta 05:17, 8 April 2011 (MST)
You can "draw" a liquid up into something, actually. "Imbibe" is specifically someone drinking, however, and often has a connotation of someone drinking an alcoholic beverage of some kind. ("Tipple" I've only heard for alcohol, and that only in something written before the twentieth century. ^^;;) Kerochan no Miko 05:27, 8 April 2011 (MST)
Imbibe is just intake of any liquid <..< modern society just associates any form of drinking with alcohol o.O. I can see where you're coming from, I just wanted to get the feeling of fluidity in the translation but there is no word that fits there that doesn't sound like a person going through a mid-life crisis trying to get into a younger mindset but failing and using slang that is no longer exists. Cartwheelingfiesta 05:31, 8 April 2011 (MST)
Technically? Maybe. But I've never ever seen it used in conversation for anything other than someone drinking. As I've said before, I'm looking for ease of understanding, not literal/dictionary definitions. Kerochan no Miko 05:34, 8 April 2011 (MST)
Perhaps their is an implication that Prince Endymion's eyes have an alcohol problem and La Moon is really Princess Serenity's concerns over this =\ Cartwheelingfiesta 05:46, 8 April 2011 (MST) never knows with myu songs. Kerochan no Miko 05:48, 8 April 2011 (MST)
