Talk:The Summer! The Ocean! Our Youth! And a Ghost Too
Should we mention somewhere about that weird thing Ami says, which we comment upon briefly in WoL, about how she "understands" what Sakiko is going through regarding her father that seems to imply some sort of history of problems between Ami and her own estranged father?--WikiSysop 10:06, 20 May 2006 (MST)
- I just watched this entire episode twice, and Ami says nothing of the sort. Honestly, there was no implication of abuse from Ami's father. The only thing I found was when Sakiko is standing outside (before anyone knows anything about what her father is doing), Ami asks her if she is lonely. Then Ami says, "You remind me of how I was not so long ago because you're all by yourself," and goes on to talk about how befriending Usagi will make anyone less lonely, etc. When Ami says that she understands, I think she is talking about the loneliness, not any sort of abuse.
