Talk:Undifferentiated Daimons

I noticed that the Sailor Team fanbooks refer to these creatures as ゴーストダイモーン. The name obviously comes from an official source, therefore I propose that this page be moved to Ghost Daimons. At least that name doesn't contain words that are hard to spell correctly. --YnK 03:10, 20 April 2012 (MST)

Anyone know where "Undifferentiated Daimons" came from in the first place? Kerochan no Miko 05:48, 20 April 2012 (MST)
It might be a slightly overdone translation of なりそこない ("[those who] failed to become something", i.e. Daimons who never fused with an object to take a specific form). That term appears once in the second S Nakayoshi Album, in relation to a picture of such a Daimon in the settei section. IIRC, they were never given a specific name in the anime itself, so the current title can't be from the official subs. "Ghost Daimons", in my opinion, is more convenient as a name, since it's (1) already in English to begin with, and (2) much more simple. --YnK 07:02, 20 April 2012 (MST)
ISTR this title came from somewhere but I don't remember where/when I was told that. I don't necessary object to the move, but I would like to track down the source of this one first. Kerochan no Miko 07:12, 20 April 2012 (MST)
It could just be from this page, like a lot of other stuff on the wiki... in which case it is likely that it's derived from なりそこない. --YnK 07:43, 20 April 2012 (MST)
That's dooky's (a founding admin of this wiki) site, not surprisingly. --210 09:10, 20 April 2012 (MST)
That would definitely make sense, and his site does say he's drawing information from the Nakayoshi Album. Yeah, "Ghost Daimons" makes a lot more sense for the title and also eliminates the problem of using an unofficial English translation. Kerochan no Miko 17:39, 20 April 2012 (MST)
