“Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon” The Super Live (2025) was a musical stage show based on the Dark Kingdom arc. It was the second iteration of The Super Live, with new people in charge, namely Kaori Miura as writer, Satomi Toma as choreographer, with Go Sakabe and KYOHEI taking the reins over music. The costumes of the show were also changed.

Like its predecessor, the show was made with international audiences in mind and featured a small cast, which made it easier to travel abroad. This version, however, used dialogues and lyrics more prominently, contributing to a more detailed storyline - although still simplified compared to other musicals. It was yet again performed in Japanese with English supertitles displayed on stage.

The musical made its debut in London, United Kingdom, starring Yui Yokoyama as Sailor Moon. A different cast is performing in the US tour, with Riko Tanaka back in the leading role.

London Performances[edit]

The London run took place in two alternating theaters during February and March 2025, HERE at Outernet and KOKO.

The cast consisted mainly of new people in the franchise. Familiar actors included Marisa Yasukawa (who returned to the musicals, this time as Sailor Mars), Sufa (reprising her role of Tuxedo Mask from Shining Moon Tokyo), and Yu Nakanishi (returning as Sailor Venus after her run in the original Super Live and Shining Moon Tokyo).

US Tour[edit]

The "North American Tour" is visiting twenty-one cities across the United States, beginning on March 12 in Pittsburgh and ending on April 26 in New York City, going through fourteen states total.

The main cast reprise their roles from the 30th Anniversary Musical Festival -Chronicle- (except for Sayaka Okamura, who played a different villain then). Riona Tatemichi was also in the original Super Live as Tuxedo Mask.
