Venus Crystal Power, Make Up was the phrase used by Minako Aino to transform into Super Sailor Venus.
Anime[edit]
In the anime, this transformation was very similar to Sailor Venus' previous one with very few differences, the main one being that a cordiform ring of roses appeared behind her at the end of the transformation. Other differences include the brighter colors of the animation, and at the end, Super Sailor Venus brushed her hair out of her face as she moved into her final pose, which she did not do before. In this transformation, Minako held up the Crystal Change Rod and her fingernails turned orange. She then held the Rod in the air as long banners of golden stars emitted from it and swirled around her body, eventually forming a spiral. The stars sank to the ground, but then rushed upwards again, completely covering Minako's body. Super Sailor Venus then finished with her final pose.
Sailor Moon Crystal[edit]
In the Sailor Moon Eternal version of this transformation, Minako held up her hand as a stream of golden stars swirled around it, alighting on her fingernails and turning them orange as she shouted "Venus Crystal Power, Make Up." She then turned and skated around in circles on one foot as a long golden ribbon of light and glowing stars trailed from her fingers. She drew her hand inward, then swept it in a circle around herself and over her head as she spun, the ribbon spinning in a spiral around her that expanded and vanished. In a flash of light, stars rushed upwards from an expanding circle at Super Sailor Venus' feet, as she appeared in full sailor fuku. She turned around, the Venus symbol glowing on her forehead before being hidden as her tiara appeared. Super Sailor Venus brushed her hair out of her face, then spun on her feet and finished with her final pose.
In the Sailor Moon Cosmos version, she transformed into Eternal Sailor Venus, and blue rose petals floated around her.
