William Milberry aka Aluminum Studios edited three popular anime music video character profiles for Sailor Venus, Sailor Mercury, and Sailor Mars.

He has made a few other Sailor Moon AMVs but this trilogy is the best known. Lately he is less involved in making AMVs.

Venus in a Bottle[edit]

Music: Genie in a Bottle by Christina Aguilera
Completed: Fall 1999

This video was a study in the differences between Minako Aino and Sailor Venus. The sequences edited to the fast beat are Sailor Venus and the more flowing scenes are Minako.

Blue Mercury[edit]

Music: Blue by Eiffel65
Completed: Spring 2000

"Blue" is a reference of Ami Mizuno's personality rather than her sailor fuku colors. It studies the worried look she often has in her eyes and doesn't try to portray her as a super soldier of love and justice.

Dreams of Red[edit]

Music: Desert Rose by Sting
Completed: December 2000

The third and final Sailor Moon tribute video takes a more artistic, spiritual approach when looking at Rei Hino. Most shots use two layers. The bottom layer has washed out colors and a canvas-like texture. The top layer is semi-transparent and is a smaller "screen". The two layers sometimes show complimentary images and sometimes contrasting.

It shows the different aspects of Rei, as a fighter, as a friend, as a priestess, and as a girl.
