Ayumi Murata (村田あゆみ), born January 12, 1982, in Tokyo, Japan, was the eighth actress to play Minako Aino/Sailor Venus in the Sailor Moon musicals. Her first musical was Transylvania no Mori (Kaiteiban) in 2001, and her final show was the 2002 10th Anniversary show Ai no Sanctuary.
Ayumi was the second-longest running Sailor Venus.
Since graduating from her role as Sailor Venus, Ayumi has released an idol DVD and performed many songs for various anime shows and video games. She has released three full albums, titled Kiseki (2006), Happy Candy (2007), and PolePole (2008).
