Baron Gilles de Rais was a character from the Dracul arc of the Sailor Moon musicals. He was one of Lilith of Darkness' associates.
He was based on the historical Gilles de Rais, and referred several times in the musicals to his lost beloved, Joan.
Trivia[edit]
- In the final performance of Kessen / Transylvania no Mori (Kaiteiban) - Saikyou no Kataki Dark Cain no Nazo, he jokingly announced himself as "Baron Gilles de Rais-chan." This was a pun based on how "Rais" in Japanese is spelled and pronounced the same as "Rei."
