Blizzar was a Youma created by Kunzite from Saeko Yamamoto, who appeared in episode 38 of the anime. During the Moon Princess Contest at the Moonlight Course ski resort, Saeko changed to her Youma form and created an avalanche, which chased Usagi and Rei down the slope. Blizzar then made an earthquake open a chasm into which the two girls fell, but when she tried to close the chasm on them the mass of snow from the avalanche prevented it from doing so.

Yuuichirou found the two and tried to show them a way out of the chasm, but Saeko stopped them; she transformed again into Blizzar and froze Yuuichirou, giving the girls a chance to transform. During the fight, the brainwashed Endymion appeared and attacked the girls as well, but when Sailor Moon pleaded with him to remember her, he threw a rose at Blizzar, destroying the Youma's weapon. Sailor Moon used Moon Healing Escalation to turn Saeko back to normal, and Endymion disappeared.

Video Games

Blizzar was one of the monster types that appeared in the video game Sailor Moon: Another Story, although the fan translation misspelled its name as "Breezer." Numerous Blizzars could be fought during Sailor Mercury's story in Chapter Two, outside Kainess village in Switzerland.

Trivia

  • Her name was most likely derived from the English word "blizzard."
