Bunbo was the third of the Seven Great Youma, reincarnated as Ryo Urawa. He was released after Zoisite removed the Yellow Rainbow Crystal from Urawa's body.
Unlike most of the other seven, Bunbo was initially able to retain his human mind in his Youma form and attacked Zoisite. By channelling dark energy into him, Zoisite eventually overwhelmed his human mind and turned him against the Sailor Senshi. Bunbo was the first Youma too powerful to be taken out by one hit from Sailor Moon's Moon Healing Escalation attack, but after the other Sailor Senshi weakened him, Sailor Moon returned him to his human form as Ryo Urawa.
Bunbo's hands could become a pair of shears or a drawing compass, which he could shoot and then regenerate.
