C'est la Vie (literally meaning "that's life", but used in the cheerful context of the lyrics and music) is the first Minako Aino song heard in the live action series. It was Usagi's favorite song and appeared in many episodes. The Japanese subtitle to the song translates to "The part of me that loves."

The song's lyrics were written by Yuuho Iwasato, the music was written by Akihiko Hirama, and the song was performed by Ayaka Komatsu (as Minako Aino).

- "C'est la Vie" is pronounced almost exactly the same as "Sailor V". Minako used this song as another means to draw the attention of the Dark Kingdom toward herself as she acted as the decoy for the Princess.
