Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye discuss their next target, considering a photo of Naru, who to them seems too normal to be the hiding place of Pegasus. Tiger's Eye tells Hawk's Eye that he's responsible for Zirconia's anger if they fail. Hawk's Eye says he has a plan that will guarantee the capture of Pegasus if all else fails, but refuses to elaborate. Tiger's Eye swipes the photo of Naru from Hawk's Eye's hand and storms out of the bar.

Naru is waiting outside an ice cream parlor for Umino, who appears to be running late. A disguised Tiger's Eye approaches her, and at first Naru mistakes him for Umino and chides him for being late. When she realizes her mistake Tiger's Eye asks her out for tea, but Umino arrives and Naru leaves with him. Tiger's Eye is humiliated by his failure, especially since he considers Umino less handsome than he, and back at the Trio's bar Fisheye and Hawk's Eye laugh at him for it. Tiger's Eye declares that Pegasus can't be hiding in Naru's beautiful dreams, since she was incapable of comprehending his beauty. Hawk's Eye then reveals his secret plan: to capture Pegasus in a special cage of negative energy after using somebody with a beautiful dream as bait. Tiger's Eye decides to use Naru as bait.

Once again in disguise, Tiger's Eye spies on Naru at a library. Noticing that she's reading a book on nursing, he decides to feign illness in order to win her heart. Naru stands on a bridge, reflecting on her decision to take the strange man up on his offer, wondering if she can manage for three whole months and what she'll tell Umino. Umino appears and asks her why she looks so upset. She tells him the whole story, and though Umino isn't pleased, he tries to pretend and instead compliments her generous disposition. Unable to hold that facade for very long, Umino soon ends up running off, saying Naru should do what she has to. Usagi and her friends show up to console Naru. All of them are worried for Umino, who Chibiusa sees drowning his misery in milkshakes at a burger shop.

When Tiger's Eye shows up for his date with Naru, she begins to tell him that she can't date him because she already has a boyfriend, but Tiger's Eye still moves to kiss Naru. She slaps him away, causing Tiger's Eye to reveal his true form as he declares that he never loved Naru to begin with. Luna, hidden in a bush, sees this and runs off to tell Usagi. Tiger's Eye checks Naru's Dream Mirror and finds no sign of Pegasus. Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon show up to confront him, and he summons his Lemures Otedamako to take care of them. The two Sailor Senshi are impressed by the Lemures's juggling until she tosses the balls being juggled toward them. The two Senshi fumble the balls, which explode when they hit the ground. Sailor Chibi Moon falls back and recalls Pegasus telling her to call his name whenever she is in danger, so she uses Twinkle Yell to summon him. Pegasus arrives and Tiger's Eye makes a cage spring up around the Senshi and Naru. Sailor Chibi Moon realizes this is a trap and urges Pegasus to not come any closer, but he doesn't listen. The cage shuts once he enters and the negative energy is activated, but Pegasus passes directly through it and the steel bars. Tiger's Eye destroys the cage with his whip and then orders his Lemures to destroy all of them. Otedamako comes forth juggling miniature swords, and as she prepares to toss them a rose thrown by Tuxedo Mask halts her attack.
