Chess Tower

Chess Tower (チェス・タワー) was the location of the international chess tournament in the episode For Friendship! Ami and Berthier Clash and was one of the dark points. It resembles a giant, white rook and was built by the Old Chess Man a friend of Ami's grandfather. It was here that Berthier entered the chess tournament so she could capture and kill Ami who she had discovered was Sailor Mercury. It was also in the Chess Tower where she nearly suceeded in killing all the "Inner Senshi" after being goaded by Petz and Calaveras into believing she was unloved and useless, however Koan managed to convince her otherwise and Sailor Moon healed her, turning her human.
