Spurred on by Wiseman, Rubeus sends Calaveras and Petz on a suicide mission to kill the Sailor Senshi and Chibiusa.

Koan and Berthier are over at the Hikawa Shrine, raking leaves and cooking sweet potatoes with the 5 Senshi and Chibiusa. Berthier commented that it was nice to have friends, since the two of them didn’t have any before. Chibiusa began to eat a potato, and Usagi asked if she could have half. When Chibiusa ate the whole potato, Usagi got angry and began to chase her.

Petz and Calaveras watched their newly healed sisters from the UFO. Rubeus soon arrived, giving Petz a rod that would increase their power. Rubeus gave the remaining sisters an ultimatum: kill the Sailor Senshi, the rabbit and the two sisters or they would not be allowed to return.

At the Hikawa Shrine, Usagi began to pig out on sweet potatoes. Makoto commented that Usagi would get fat eating so much, and Rei suggested that Mamoru rejected Usagi because she was like that. A bright light shone in the sky, and some light beams shot at Chibiusa. Koan pushed Chibiusa out of the way, getting captured in the process along with Berthier.

Usagi moved Chibiusa to the closet and told her to stay. Chibiusa ran to a window, where she saw Usagi and her friends standing. The five girls transformed into the Sailor Senshi, unknowingly revealing their secret identities to Chibiusa. Sailor Mercury used her computer to locate the evil energy and the Senshi ran off. Chibiusa chased after them.

Koan and Berthier were trapped by Petz and Calaveras in a ball of energy, near a bridge that was under construction. Calaveras asked Petz if she could touch the rod, but Petz refused as she was enjoying her newfound power. Koan and Berthier tried to reason with Petz, asking her and Calaveras to quit fighting the Sailor Senshi but Petz disagreed with them.

The Sailor Senshi arrived and Petz immediately began using her power. Petz deflected Sailor Jupiter’s Sparkling Wide Pressure attack and blasted her back. Mercury used her computer to find out that Petz was powered up from the rod. Sailor Venus and Sailor Mars used their attacks, but Petz was able to defend herself from them and she blasted the Senshi back with her Dark Thunder. Koan and Berthier pleaded with Petz not to hurt the Sailor Senshi, but Petz refused. Petz then blasted Koan and Berthier along with Calaveras. Berthier and Koan fell from the energy ball, but Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Mars caught them. Sailor Moon went up to Calaveras and asked if she was all right. Calaveras was shocked to find out that Sailor Moon cared for her.

Petz began to prepare for another attack. Sailor Mercury used her Sabão Spray to create a fog, then Sailor Venus used her Venus Love-Me Chain attack to knock the rod out of Petz’s hand. Sailor Jupiter then blasted Petz. The other 3 Black Moon sisters gathered around Petz, then Rubeus appeared. Rubeus stated that he hadn't expected the Black Moon sisters to beat the Sailor Senshi, but he would use the power of the stick so that everyone would die together.

The rod created a hole to another dimension. Petz tried to use her remaining power, but she almost got sucked into the hole. The other 3 sisters then rescued Petz. After a brief appearance by Tuxedo Kamen, Sailor Moon suggested that the Senshi go into the hole to destroy the rod. The Sailor Senshi jumped into the hole, discovered the rod, and then used the Sailor Planet Attack to destroy it.

After the dimension hole was closed, Sailor Moon used the ginzuishou to turn Petz and Calaveras into humans. Chibiusa showed up and watched the transformation, discovering the ginzuishou in the process. Back in the UFO, Rubeus was furious over the defeat by the Sailor Senshi and punched one of his mirrors.

The next day, the 4 sisters opened up a cosmetics shop together. Petz began to get upset at Berthier, who was trying on the makeup. Usagi and Rei would then begin to squabble with each other, much to the dismay of the other 3 Senshi.

Episode trivia

  • This was the last episode DiC dubbed in their initial batch of episodes, and would remain the last dubbed episode for three years.
