The Communicators were special devices used by the Sailor Senshi to keep in touch with each other.

In the first season, they resembled small calculators. In episode 62 of the R season, the Senshi received new communicators along with their Star Power Sticks. These new communicators resembled wrist watches, and the face resembled Sailor Moon's Crystal Star. In the S season, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune also had similar communicators.
Manga

In the manga, the Senshi also had communicator devices which resembled watches. They received their first ones in Act 3, as prizes from the Sailor V game, and the second set in the Black Moon arc.
Live Action
The Senshi did not have communicator devices in the live-action series, and instead used special cell phones.
