She was a female humanoid creature with red skin, dark spiky hair, a light purple mark on her forehead, and spikes that stretched from her shoulders and back.
She was in charge of the Crystal Seminar, a cram school that Ami attended. The students were given special disks to use, not knowing that the disk would activate a program that would drain their energy. Usagi discovered the disk after a new student, Ami, left hers behind. She was also one of the monster types that appeared in Sailor Moon: Another Story. Numerous Garobens could be fought in Azabu-Juuban during Chapter One of the game.
In the game Sailor Moon S: Quiz Taiketsu! Sailor Power Ketsushuu, Garoben was one of the monsters revived by the Daimon Quiz in order to fight the Sailor Senshi.
