Iguara

Iguana

Iguana was a Youma summoned by Jadeite to drain energy from unsuspecting shopper looking for pets, as part of the Dark Kingdom's continuing energy-gathering efforts while posing as a pet shop owner at Pet Shop Perfume. She appeared in anime episode 5. She had the appearance of a blue lizard-like, scaly humanoid, with a tail and long brown hair.

As the owner, her job was to sell her special animals called chanelas. These animals gave off a perfume-like scent which hypnotized their owner until they lost interest in anything else. Once a human was under the chanela's power, the chanela was then free to drain their energy. Shingo, Usagi's brother, was one of the children to fall under the spell of the chanela. After investigating the animals, Usagi also fell under its spell, but was saved by Luna.

After Shingo ran away from Usagi, she transformed into Sailor Moon and left for the pet shop to investigate further. There she found that all of the chanelas' owners had become slaves to the owner, who then transformed from her human disguise into her Youma form. The hypnotized children became scaly and blue as well, chasing after Sailor Moon before she healed them with her Moon Tiara Stardust attack. She was then left to face Iguara, who chased Sailor Moon out into the parking lot. There, she managed to grip Sailor Moon by the neck with her tail, until Sailor Moon used her tiara to attack Iguana at her weak point, the base of her tail, destroying her.
