Kyuusuke Sarashina was a friend of Chibiusa and Momoko Momohara. He tended to bicker with them in a similar manner to Mamoru or Rei's bickering with Usagi. He was very athletic. In the manga Kyuusuke lived in a Soba shop and it was his favourite food. In the manga he had an elder sister, Kotoko Sarashina who made a Sailor V button for him. Chibiusa liked it but Kyuusuke wouldn't get her one, but after the two of them helped defeat the vampire Lyrica Hubert, he had his sister make a Sailor Moon button for her. He also visited Lyrica Hubert's house in the anime, and he was targeted for his dream mirror by JunJun in the SuperS season, but not before she helped him overcome his fear of the box horse. In the manga he is also friends with Sorano (who does not appear in the anime) and he seemed to think Sorano should be more athletic.
