La Reconquista was a musical performed in September 2013. It was based on the Dark Kingdom arc of the manga and was the first to star Satomi Okubo as Sailor Moon.

This musical was the first to be produced by Nelke Planning, and also the first produced after an eight-year hiatus. As none of the previous cast members returned after the long hiatus, this was the first musical for the entire cast. It was also the only musical in which Miyabi Matsuura, Jaimie Natsuki, Midori Hatsukaze, Mayu Iseki, Root, Koro, Ryo Saika, Mayumi Shintani, Ayumi Shimozono, Asuka Yoshidome, Shiho Tsukagoshi, and Miki Shirai appeared.

Musical Numbers[edit]

"La Reconquista" is also the name of a period of time in the Middle Ages during which the Muslim kingdoms on the Iberian peninsula were conquered by Christian-led armies.

A few days before the first musical performance, Misaki Komatsu had to withdraw from her role as Kunzite due to an illness, and Mayu Iseki took her place.
