Mercury Goggle in the anime

The Mercury Goggle was a transparent blue visor sometimes worn by Sailor Mercury in the anime, manga, and musicals. She could make it appear or disappear by touching one of her earrings. Sailor Mercury used this item to scan and analyze enemies and phenomena in battle, as well as make calculations.

Trivia

• Although the origin of the Mercury Goggle was never shown in the anime or manga, its functions were explained in Naoko Takeuchi's notes in the Materials Collection artbook.

• In episode 13 of the anime, the Mercury Goggle displayed the words "Arrest Mode" in the corner of the display. This was a reference to the movie RoboCop similar to one displayed by her Supercomputer.
