Mika Kayama was an award-winning maker of French dolls, and one of Shingo Tsukino's friends. She first appeared in episode 5, in which she was one of many who were hypnotized by a Chanela.

She tried to give the doll to Shingo, but he accidentally broke it, which devastated Mika. She was then targeted by Nephrite, who implanted the Youma Jumeau into the doll she was working on and commissioned her to make ten more. As she made the dolls she fell under the Youma's influence, and as she finished the last one it emerged and drained her energy.
