Sailor Chibi Moon is still fading as she clings onto Mamoru and pleads for him to come back. Hotaru begins her battle with Queen Nehellenia. Meanwhile, Artemis returns to Luna and Diana at Hikawa Shrine and tells them that the people mesmerized by the mirrors are now trapped inside them and that it might have to do with Nehellenia's curse. The three cats still have faith in the Guardians before dawn.

Usagi, still making her way through the path of sharp thorns, is almost to the castle and still holding on to Makoto's rose earring she left behind. Back at the castle, Queen Nehellenia continues to taunt Sailor Saturn and Sailor Chibi Moon. Chibi Moon continues to cry out for Mamoru, who then begins to twitch. Queen Nehellenia suddenly begins to send her evil spell to Mamoru making him push her away very hard. Sailor Saturn rushes over and uses her [[Silence Wall]] to protect themselves. Sailor Saturn becomes very angry at Queen Nehellenia and begins to use her ultimate attack. Queen Nehellenia laughs at first, but them realizes that Sailor Saturn intends to sacrifice herself by taking Nehellenia with her.

Nehellenia then gets angry from Sailor Saturn's eyes then has a flashback from the eyes of the seven other Senshi she previously captured. She then attacks Sailor Saturn then gets even more agitated from Sailor Jupiter's voice asking her if she ever had a friend. Sailor Saturn then unleashed her attack [[Silence Glaive Surprise]]. The attack fills up the castle making it enough for Usagi to see. But Nehellenia is still alive as she sees that Sailor Chibi Moon has prevented Sailor Saturn from sacrificing herself. Sailor Chibi Moon weakly tells Sailor Saturn that everything will be fine and that the Prince and Princess will not be defeated before collapsing.

Nehellenia then attacks Sailor Saturn then traps her in the mirror with the other Sailor Senshi. All eight Sailor Senshi appear as Nehellenia gets ready to exact her revenge. Usagi then arrives inside, but Nehellenia tells her that she is too late. Usagi runs over to Sailor Chibi Moon in tears, Sailor Chibi Moon tells Usagi that she has faith in her before vanishing from existence.

Nehellenia then taunts Usagi for her loss then shows her the eight captive Sailor Senshi. Nehellenia then tells Usagi her story about how she suffered loneliness when she was a little girl. Despite being worshipped by her followers, she has no one to share her feelings until she saw the mirror. The mirror took away her loneliness and promised her eternal youth and beauty but also manipulated her to not have any friends but herself. Nehellenia added that she still blames Usagi for sealing her away into the darkness therefore suffering the same loneliness without her mirror before attacking Usagi.

Nehellenia begins to choke Usagi to death, but Usagi's look of sympathy begins to make Nehellenia very afraid before tossing Usagi away from her. Usagi then tells Nehellenia that she would never bear loneliness that way she did. Usagi then takes a stand and tells Nehellenia to take her revenge and that everyone understands her pain. All eight Sailor Senshi begin to cry inside the mirrors. Nehellenia realizes this and begins to do so until she sees Mamoru's eyes filled with tears and finally extracting the Dark Mirror shard from his eye breaking the curse. All eight Sailor Senshi break free from the mirrors and Sailor Chibi Moon's existence is saved.

Usagi tells everyone that it was time to put their powers together in order to help Nehellenia. The New Moon appears over Nehellenia, who then begins to violently attack everyone out of fear, but with Mamoru becoming Prince Endymion, Nehellenia goes defeated as she becomes very afraid. The Sailor Senshi and Prince Endymion put their powers together. Usagi them becomes Eternal Sailor Moon, and with her Eternal Tier, she uses her new powers to cleanse away the New Moon and helps Nehellenia remember her true dreams as a child. Nehellenia, now relaxed by the warm light, then begins to remember. Her true dream was to have friends and people to talk to. She then wishes to start her life over again. The New Moon becomes a yellow moon and the mirror that made Nehellenia evil begins to shatter. Nehellenia then vanishes and her castle crumbles away from the light.

Nehellenia then wakes up on her throne back as a little girl and surrounded by her followers before they become the [[Lemures]]. Nehellenia then goes to take a nap until she turns to her followers and asks them to sing her a lullaby. Nehellenia then smiles as they said they will. Meanwhile, Prince Endymion and the ten Senshi celebrate Nehellenia's new beginning. Usagi then returns Sailor Jupiter's earring to her. Luna and Artemis are happy that they made it as a new day dawns. But somewhere in outer space over earth, the voice that released Queen Nehellenia is heard laughing sinisterly.
