Moon Spiral Heart Attack was the first new attack Sailor Moon gained in the S season of the anime and the third arc of the manga.
When she performed this attack in the original anime, Sailor Moon would spin around at a very rapid rate, then stop and hold the Spiral Heart Moon Rod up in the air. Energy would then be released from it in the form of spiraling pink hearts, which coalesced into a large pink heart and smashed into the target. Daimons who were defeated by this attack cried out, "Lovely!".
Twice in the manga, and every time she used the attack in Crystal, Sailor Moon would call out: "Neo-Queen Serenity yo! Waga roddo Heart Moon Rod ni chikara wo!" (ネオ・クイーンセレニティよ! わが杖 (ロッド) ハートムーン・ロッドに力を！; Neo-Queen Serenity, lend your power to my Heart Moon Rod!).
