Natsuna Sakurada is a character who only appeared in Codename: Sailor V. She was the Superindent-General of the Metropolitan Police Board, Toshio Wakagi's boss, and a closet Sailor V fan. When on a case at a concert that was being controlled by the Dark Agency, Natsuna saw Minako transform into Sailor V. She telephoned Minako once a week attempting to recruit her, and despite Minako's dislike of the police the two were quite close, Minako saw Natsuna as a big sister sort of figure.
Trivia
- Fans have theorized that she might be related to Haruna Sakurada, as they both share the same family name and their given names both follow the pattern of season ("haru" (春) meaning "spring", "natsu" (夏) meaning "summer") + vegetable ("na" (菜)). In two of Naoko Takeuchi's other series, The Cherry Project and P.Q. Angels, there are characters who also have the family name Sakurada and whose names follow this pattern: Fuyuna Sakurada and Akina Sakurada.
