Episode trivia
- This episode was the first in which Moon Crisis, Make Up was used, Moon Gorgeous Meditation was named, and the Crystal Carillon appeared. It was also the last in which Moon Prism Power, Make Up, Moon Cosmic Power, Make Up, Pink Sugar Heart Attack, and Moon Spiral Heart Attack were used. It was also the last time Sailor Moon's original sailor fuku was shown in an episode (although it later appeared in a flashback in episode 168).
- In the English dub, "Moon Spiral Heart Attack" was incorrectly called "Rainbow Moon Heart Attack."
