Reiko Mars was the stage name Minako Aino gave to Rei Hino for her idol persona.
This persona first appeared in Act 23, when Minako tricked Rei into singing at a performance at the hospital. Minako introduced Rei as "Reiko Mars", a play on her identity as Sailor Mars.
In Act 40, Minako wanted to quit her idol career in order to focus on being a Sailor Senshi during her remaining time, but Reiko Mars appeared once again and set herself up as a rival for Minako, awakening her competitive spirit.

- Since Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon ended its run, Keiko Kitagawa, the actress who played Rei Hino, has taken many roles which have been similar in style to Reiko Mars.
