He had precognitive abilities as a side effect of being one of the Seven Great Youma, and used them to score well on tests. He had a crush on Ami Mizuno, though, as she possessed true intelligence. These powers also allowed him to know he was Bunbo, that Ami was Sailor Mercury, and that he would put her in danger, so he asked her to kill him before he could kill her. After this he moved away as his family were transferred, but he and Ami agreed to be on first-name basis with each other before he left.
