Anime
In the anime, she posed as Chuuko Nezu ("Nezu" comes from the word "nezumi" (鼠), meaning "mouse"; "chuu" (ちゅう) is the sound of a mouse's squeak), a TV producer, and communicated with Sailor Galaxia via a telephone booth that would appear and disappear magically (similar to the TARDIS, the spaceship/time machine belonging to the main character of the long-running British science fiction television show, Doctor Who). Iron Mouse usually chose handsome men or celebrities as her victims. She died when Sailor Galaxia was displeased with her string of failures and took her bracelets, killing her.
Manga
Sailor Iron Mouse only briefly appeared in the manga, at a joint concert between Michiru Kaiou and the Three Lights. She attacked the Sailor Senshi with her attack, Galactica Crunch, and was able to withstand Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune's attacks, but was defeated by Sailor Star Healer.
Appearance
In both the anime and manga, as a Senshi, Sailor Iron Mouse wore a baby-doll top that was trimmed with black string-tied bows. Her collar was white and she had a gold pearl necklace. She had a black string-tied bow in the center of her torso with a gold star on it. Her bottoms were black. She wore white leggings and wore white lace-up boots. Her gloves and boots were trimmed with white fur. She also had white fur puffs over her ears. Her gloves were white and had her bracelets underneath. At the time of her death in the anime, however, her bracelets were worn over gloves. Her white hair was in pigtails with odango over them. White mouse ears covered her odango. Her tiara was gold with pearls and a star in the center. She also had a white curly tail.
Musicals
Aki Kudou as Sailor Iron Mouse |
Sailor Iron Mouse appeared in several Sera Myu productions: the 1996 winter special Sailor Moon Sailor Stars and its 1997 winter revision, and the 2003 summer special Starlights - Ryuusei Densetsu and its revision Kakyuu-Ouhi Kourin - The Second Stage Final.
In Sailor Moon Sailor Stars, Sailor Iron Mouse was among the many minions of Galaxia sent to Earth to draw out and destroy the Sailor Senshi there. She performed in Juuban Municipal High School's musical festival while in disguise with her fellow Sailor Animamates. She was played by Chie Maruyama.
In Starlights - Ryuusei Densetsu, Iron Mouse posed as a member of the Dancing Animamates, an "international dancing team." She went by the name "Chuu Rat" and was the top dancer. She was played by Aki Kudou.
Costume
Sailor Iron Mouse's costume was mostly identical to the anime and manga, the only differences being that all the bows, as well as the tail, were silver, and her top, collar, leggings, and boots looked more metallic.
