It contained insert songs from the second season, the three movies, the original Japanese anime, a cover of The Beatles' "I Want to Hold Your Hand", and a few songs not included in the show.
There are two versions of this album, one being the original release in Canada by EMI Music Canada and then the later United States release by Kid Rhino. A few of the songs are arranged differently between the two versions, including "I Want to Hold Your Hand" and "I Want Someone to Love" (the latter is listed as "Raw Re-Mix" on the Kid Rhino version).
