==Summary==
A long time ago, there was [[Silver Millennium|a kingdom]] on the [[Moon]]. The ruler of this kingdom, the good and wise [[Queen Serenity]], reigned with the help of the holy [[Silver Crystal]] over this part of the galaxy. [[Prince Endymion|Endymion]], the prince of the [[Earth]], fell in love with the daughter of the Moon queen, [[Princess Serenity]]. It was a time of peace for all mankind, which they owed to the inhabitants of the Moon who watched over the [[Solar System]].

But then the dark power of [[Queen Metalia|Metalia]] arrived. On the Earth she found an ally in [[Queen Beryl|Beryl]], who was propelled by her lust for power and unrequited love for Prince Endymion. Together with the [[Shitennou]] and the [[Seven Great Youma]] they quickly conquered the Earth, then moved on to the Silver Millennium in order to obtain the power of the Silver Crystal. Against these forces the inhabitants of the Moon were hopelessly outnumbered. The [[Inner Senshi|four protectors of the Princess]], the [[Sailor Senshi]], could not even stand against them. 

Princess Serenity, Prince Endymion, and the Sailor Senshi were all killed in the battle, and in her grief, Queen Serenity used the Silver Crystal, despite the fact that it would cost her life. The power of the Crystal sealed away Metalia's evil and, fulfilling the last wish of the dying queen, sent Serenity, Endymion, and the Senshi into the future in the hope that they could be born again on the Earth and live peaceful lives. In case dark powers should ever threaten them again, though, the queen also sent her advisors, the cats [[Luna]] and [[Artemis]], to guide and protect them.

In the present day, Queen Beryl and Metalia emerge from the seal placed upon them by Queen Serenity  and threaten to destroy the Earth. [[Usagi Tsukino]] must become [[Sailor Moon]] and fight with [[Sailor Mercury]], [[Sailor Mars]], [[Sailor Jupiter]], and [[Sailor Venus]] to defeat their [[evil]] power.
