The Sailor Moon SuperS Special was a special 45 minute edition of the anime featuring three mini-episodes. Broadcast on the 8th of April 1995, shortly after the beginning of Sailor Moon SuperS. It takes directly after Usagi and Chibiusa receive their new brooches from Pegasus. The special included a compilation episode focusing on Usagi, a story adapted from the Chibiusa's Picture Diary manga series, and the only appearance of Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune in the season.
