Shiho Niiyama (新山志保) was the voice actress who played Kou Seiya in Sailor Moon Sailor Stars, as well as Fuyumi Akiyama in Sailor Moon SuperS. Some of her anime roles included Deedlit in Record of Lodoss War and Suou Takamura in Clamp School Detectives. She was also a good friend of Megumi Ogata.
Shiho Niiyama was diagnosed with leukemia in 1998, and died of internal bleeding following pneumonia in February 2000, at the age of 29.
