Silver Moon Crystal Power, Make Up was the command that Usagi Tsukino used to transform into Eternal Sailor Moon in the manga and Sailor Moon Crystal.
In one of the two animated versions of this transformation, the Eternal Moon Article appeared and its lid opened, revealing the crystal inside; Usagi brushed her hand past the crystal and it flashed, emitting several multicolored light orbs before it finally released an opalescent star. The golden crescent moon symbol on Usagi's forehead turned pastel rainbow-colored and emitted light beams of the same colors that eventually coalesced and hid her from view, then dissolved to show the golden crescent symbol again. With the Article affixed to her chest, Usagi extended her arms and released a flurry of feathers, which swirled through the air as she spun around, then spread her arms to either side as translucent pink ribbons appeared to form her gloves, before vanishing in a swirl of feathers. One of her wings then spread out, releasing more feathers. As Usagi turned around, pink ribbons wrapped around her legs and formed her boots, vanishing in another flurry of feathers. Eternal Sailor Moon then appeared wearing her brooch, gloves, boots, wings and back waist ribbons, lifting her arms and leaning her upper body back, before she drew her arms back down and turned, as pink ribbons emitted from the Article and wrapped around her body. In a swirl of feathers, Eternal Sailor Moon appeared in full sailor fuku and turned to show the symbol on her forehead once again, now changing from pastel rainbow-colored to golden. She spun around several times, then leaned her upper body forward with her arms spread in front of her. She drew her upper body and legs closer together while drawing her arms backwards, then landed on her feet, bending forward and reaching for the floor with her arms, before straightening again and assuming her final pose as golden light radiated from her forehead.
Trivia[edit]
- In the song "Ai wo Shinjiteru," which was written by Naoko Takeuchi, Usagi called out "Silver Moon Crystal Power" several times, which was possibly a reference to this phrase.
