Sumi Shimamoto (島本須美), real name Sumi Koshikawa (越川須美), born December 8, 1954, in Kochi, Japan, is a voice actress who played Akane Gushiken in the Stars season of the Sailor Moon anime. Her other anime roles include Nausicaä in Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Kyoko Otonashi in Maison Ikkoku, Sara Crewe in Little Princess Sara, Toki in Princess Mononoke, Suzu in Fire Tripper, Shokupan-man in Soreike! Anpanman, and Big Momma in Sorcerer Hunters.
