How come the "の乱れ撃" Furious Random Crescent Beam Shots is translated but the "必殺" of Hissatsu Love-Me Moon Chain isn't? Also come to think of it, is there a reason Furious Random Crescent Beam Shots is translated that way instead of, say, Crescent Beam Disorder Attack? GracieLizzie 07:39, 18 July 2006 (MST)

Hmm. I tend to prefer leaving attacks untranslated, and I suppose we should fix a standard for these things. Right now I'm trying to plough my way through the Amazoness Quartet's various "Tama" attacks from the anime, some of which are translated in subtitles, while others aren't. Viz dub

Venus actually says "Moon Moonie Love-Me Moon Chain". Still not sure why they added "Moonie". Anyone have any objection to fixing the English Viz name of the attack? [1] -Corza Moon (talk) 20:07, 1 December 2019 (EST)

It's based on the audio in the footage I linked to. The Viz English dub dialogue only matches the subtitles 10% of the time, coz the translation won't always match the syllables of the mouth animation (and the writers want to be creative too).
