A gag in the episode that needs clarification

As noted on the "Supreme Thunder" article, this episode contains a gag when Jupiter uses her Supreme thunder attack, Moon mishears it as "Chou Cream Sundae." In properly pronounced English, though, it makes no sense since they sound nothing alike, but the Japanese language has "gairaigo" in which foreign words are reconstructed with the closest Japanese phonemes but it often radically changes the pronunciation of the words. Hence "Thunder" becomes "Sandā" and "Sundae" becomes "Sandē" which sound more phonetically similar. This could also clarify a gag in another episode where Usagi mishears "Moon Princess" as "Moon Pudding" since "Pudding" is rendered as "Purin" in Japanese and "Princess" is rendered as "PURINsesu." 50.24.16.38 20:36, 10 March 2021 (EST)

Just the fact that in normally pronounced English, "Thunder" does not sound like "Sundae," which could lead English-speaking viewers to think, "how does she mishear it as that?" (the question that my proposed edit would answer) But when the words get "Japanicized" into Gairaigo, "Sandā" and "Sandē" DO sound similar and that would make people say "oh, now it makes sense." 50.24.16.38 00:21, 14 March 2021 (EST)
